Unable to Sync Android Phone to Fitbit Device

Hi All,

 

I am unable to sync my fitbit device to android phone. It was working fine earlier.i tried the work around suggested. 

First, I tried to forget the device on my phone bluetooth settings. Then I tried to add this device, however the device is not recognised.

Secondly, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It didn't sync even after several minutes.

Please someone help me sync the device to android phone.

Hi @Laxminarsimha have you tried these sync tips

Is the tracker still connected to your Fitbit Account? 

Also try 

  • Clear the fitbit app cache
  • Stop the app through the phones settings. 
  • Restart the phone, you may have to shut the phone off. 
  • Restart the tracker, if possible, shut off the tracker

@Laxminarsimha Thanks for the details about the syncing difficulty and for the troubleshooting performed. I recommend you to try setting up your Fitbit device again by following the instructions from this help article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?. This will help to reconnect your device and complete any pending update.
