Unable to add steps tile back to "Today" on the Fitbit app

4 days ago my fitbit app on my phone (One Plus  6T)  stopped showing steps. The dashboard only shows Miles, Cals and Minutes. When i click EDIT  (top right) the steps icon shows with a plus sign but its greyed out and will not move.    When I press DONE it disappears. Similarly the daily totals and aggregates tables can no longer be set to show steps. My Inspire is recording my steps constantly  and the fitbit app on my Windows 10 PC still shows and updates steps. Curiously at the same time my wife's MOTO G7 developed the same fault. She has an Inspire HR which like my Inspire is working fine.   Please advise

When you click EDIT and see steps icon with plus sign, tap the plus sign to add it back, rather than trying to drag the icon; that should un-gray it and bring it back to viewing.

Hi Johnny

Its worked. Many , many thanks. So obvious, I could kick myself for not finding the solution. But without your help I would still be feeling frustrated this morning.

Obvious, only after you know the solution.

Glad you got it working now.
