Unable to connect charge HR to Nexus 5X via Bluetooth

Charge HR was syncing fine with my Nexus 5x for 2 weeks. Suddenly the green light started glowing non-stop and from then Fitbit is not getting listed in available Bluetooth devices to pair with. Tried restarting but it didn't help. Please help with this Bluetooth connectivity.

The restart procedure (documented below) is known to not always work so it might be worth trying it a few more times
