Unable to enter decimal point when logging custom food values - Android App (using Sony X)

Hi,

When adding the detail of custom food (i.e. fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates etc etc) most contain a decimal point (i.e. 0.4g, 1.2g etc).  When I try and add this information in, it isn't recognised on the screen, despite the fact that I am typing it on my device keyboard.

I have seen various threads concerning this issue, with a couple of workarounds that apply to other Android devices such as Samsung etc.  This involves switching the keyboard type to enable the recognition of the decimal point for adding weights such as 0.4g, 1.2g etc etc.

Unfortunately I only appear to have 2 choices on my Sony X, the swift keybpard or google voice option, neither of which will enable me to enter the decimal point into the relevant section on the app.  It is present on the keyboard but when pressed, it simply doesn't appear on the screen.

I have the latest version of the app on my device (Version 2.49) via the Play Store.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks.

Hey there, @darklady! Welcome, welcome! I recommend you to check this post which explains how this parameters work very detailed. Have you checked if your phone is compatible?

What is the complete model name of your phone?
