Unable to manually log an exercise

Hi! I'm trying to manually log an exercise my Inspire HR hasn't recognised. I have been skating, which it can't track.

However, every time I try to manually log an exercise, I cannot add it. When I enter the type of training, it keeps disappearing. When I write manually "skating", or "workout", or even "running", it disappears when I set up the duration. When I save the type of training for last and press to add the exercise, it tells me the distance is not correct. I cannot add distance, so that's really confusing.

I have been trying to use this feature for a year now, as I skate a lot. I have bought this watch because I thought it would be possible to manually add exercises. Big disappointment that it's just not possible.

Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Stephanie073.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. I appreciate your efforts and recommend doing the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force stop the Fitbit app on your phone: Settings > Applications > find the Fitbit app > select it > Storage > Clear cache > go back and select Force stop.
  3. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. For instructions, see this help article.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  6. Try to log your exercise. You can confirm the steps in How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?

For more information about tracking your workouts, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

By the way, I've moved your post to the Android App board so we can keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps!
