Unable to post photos and share weight loss

I am unable to upload photos to the community forums as well as post my weightloss. 

With the photos, the screen goes blank and then crashes the app. Im running the newest android update and fitbit app version 2.93. My mobile device is a galaxy a8. 

I'm also unable to see a loss in weight shiwn, even though i log the loss. So I'm not able to post the loss on the  community boards.  

 I'm disappointed by this because i had a previous fitbit, an Alta HR, and similar things happened before it eventually stopped syncing entirely. I bought a new phone, but by that time the Fitbit had been given to a relative with an iphone, which it synced up with no problem ...I've just ordered an Inspire, in the hopes that the new phone and new fitbit will be simpatico. If not...i'm  going to be sad.

As for the weight loss information, could you share some screenshots of how it is showing up for you? That should help me better understand what is the best way to go about this situation.

It's not a lot of weight lost, so I'm not sure if there's a minimum requirement before posting.

I am also having the same issue with regards to posting pictures. I'm trying to share my exercise in a group and it keeps crashing.

@Glipper Thanks for posting those pictures, it definitely helps to get a better idea of what is going on. @Hannah716 Thanks for letting us know you are experiencing the same situation.

 

@Glipper As it can be seen in the second picture it would seem like the total weight loss is also not showing on the weight page, not only when trying to share. Let's try logging out of the Dashboard and then logging back in. That should force all data to be loaded from the servers and should correct the situation.

 

@Hannah716 Please know that our team has been informed of this situation. As soon as we have any details on the matter we will be letting everyone know about it.

I'm having a similar issue except I can't access any other photo app.  When I try to upload a photo, it only gies to Bitmoji instead of the screen where I can select which photo to add.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled and updated the app on numerous occasions, including today, and still get the same result.  This has been happening since 6/5/19 and I've already contacted FitBit support with no conclusion so far.   The same is happening on MyFitnessPal app, which is linked to my fitbit app.  I have a Samsung s8 and all updates are current

This problem is still not gone. When posting a picture to a group the app crashes. I'm not severely hit by this problem because normally I use a iPad to do postings. But the flaw is now around over a year and this fact alone questions the moderating process. In my case Samsung Galaxy A8, Android Version 9 but when I noticed it the first time I had a Galaxy S5 mini, Android Version 7.

I look forward for a solution ASAP. It is overdue.

I am having this problem too. I click the picture tab to post a photo, and it just crashes instantly. This has been happening for months not for me and I feel left out of my community because I can't share the same things that others can. Please fix this as reading these other posts this has been an issue for over 12 months now? Is your team really working on this? Doesn't seem like it at all... But I know you'll give me that same reply. "our team is aware of this problem and will fix it as soon as possible". Not cool Fitbit, not cool.

Same thing with me. When I try to upload a photo, it goes to Bitmoji...EVERY TIME!! So frustrating but seeing other post without a Fitbit response makes me wonder if there is a solution???
