Unable to restore connection with third-party apps

I removed permissions for Noom to link with Fitbit.  Eventually temporarily removed a couple of apps from my Samsung J3 Emerge and added Google Fit so I could reset the selection on Noom.  This did not work to restore connection,  but instead caused permissions to be revoked for Cronometer, which I had linked with Fitbit.  I am using Alta HR, if that makes any difference.  Just want to be able to keep track of how my steps affect calories.
