Unable to setup Versa 2

I just got my versa 2 in the mail and my android is a newer samsung with many other paired bluetooth devices and no issues. I installed the fitbit app on my phone...wake up the fitbit....it  signals the fitbit the 4 digit code, and when I enter the 4 digit code into the phone app it says connecting for 5+ minutes until it times out. I am using the fitbit charger that came with the fitbit and it is connected to a standard USB wall charger.   I have tried rebooting the phone and fitbit and it doesn't help either.

There is no excuse for Fitbit not having a stellar telecommute model already in place well before the shutdowns happened. First of all, you are a wearable technology company. Why are you even based in San Francisco?  There is no excuse for absentee support, a website full of errors, and your return form won't even recognize my order number.  I can only imagine the number of coders out of work due to your company's extremely poor structure. I guess you don't care since Google owns you now. another not especially wonderful company.

 

I am filing a complaint with my credit card company, so I am not worried about getting my money back.

Google doesn't own Fitbit. They tendered an offer to purchase Fitbit, but it hasn't been approved or completed yet.

TY I did finally find their number and got support. This is a very buggy device...multiple times having to uninstall/reinstall and toggle swtiches to wake up the device.
