Unable to sync Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have lost the ability to track my progress on my cell phone, android, since the upload on August 29. I get a message saying that it can't find my device. I went to the internet for solutions and tried them to no avail. It involved doing a reset of my Charge 2 by plugging in and pressing and holding the button in. I can get updates on my desk top computer but that isn't very practical. Any suggestions?

Hi @Linden124, welcome to the Community Forums, it's a pleasure to assist you today.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using yo sync your Fitbit? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Thank you for your reply. I have a G7ThinQ . The frustrating part is it
used to sync prior to August 29. Now I go to my computer and sync then for
some unknown reason my phone will sync with that data but doesn't continue
to sync.

@Linden124 you are synching with your computer.  What is showing on you phone app is the latest information from the fitbit servers ie what you uploaded from your computer when you last synched. This information would only be altered on your phone if the phone was synching. As it is you are just displaying information from your last computer synch.

I hope that makes some sense to you,

I can't think of a way to say it that sounds less confusing.  Sorry, it's way past my bedtime.
