If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Your update is appreciated. This could be related to the mobile device that you're using, to further investigate, can you please let me know which specific phone are you using with your new device? Also, which Fitbit do you have? Did you try the troubleshooting steps that were shared on my previous post with a different mobile device or maybe a computer?
