I am using a Motorola G3 android device. My Charge 3 stopped syncing 15-Dec-2018. It will not take a SW update. After counless retrys, I followed suggestions here, tried replacing device, would not onnect. Removed from Bluetooth list, tried to reconnect, failed. Each time, entering the pairing code, no connection. Deleted all App data, rebooted phone, tried to add new device, no connection. Deleted app, re-installed, same thing. Entered pairing code to app, spinning icon, never ending 'Connecting...' My charge 3 will not re-connect with my phone.
An android device will not be any help to solve the issue.

Welcome to the Forums @MMGrif.
Thanks for sharing all of the steps that you have tried to get the update to work.
his might be happening because the G3 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone. As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it.
Do you have access to a computer that you could try to use to run the setup with your Charge 3? Or another device (not necessarily an Android one)? Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Also, do you get some sort of error message on the app when you try to run the set up again?
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I have the same issue. I get a error saying 'set up is taking longer than expected' and asks me to remove any other device nearby. I don't have any other device. I tried on moto G4 as well and got the same error.
