Unable to use Music Control feature

My Versa 2 shows it is paired and everything works except for music control. When I try to do that it says to pair it through my bluetooth. Under bluetooth it shows it already paired. I've tried turning everything off and back on. Even unpaired through the app and reinstalled my phone.  Nothing is working!!

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting your Versa 2 prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using with your Fitbit? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check this help article to make sure that such feature is correctly configured.

I have the Versa 2 and Samsung 7 Edge. I received it for Christmas and it
has never correctly paired with my phone for music control. I have read
through the help articles and they did not fix the issues. My phone shows
that the two are synced and I am receiving all other notifications.
However, when I go to music on my Versa, it tells me to pair my phone.
