Unable to view profile on website

ANSWERED

I don't know where to put this but for at least a day or two (Maybe it was going on longer and I just never noticed because I don't go viewing my own profile or anyone else's profile on the website much.)

First let me say I can see my app profile just fine on the app. However, whenever I try to view my profile on the fitbit.com website this is what shows.

It is the same when I come to the community and click to visit mine or anyone's fitbit.com profile. A few days ago I just migrated my thing to my gmail. You guys fixed the issue with my posts being flagged but I still have this problem.

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

@Newfitkitty   Fitbit fully deactivated that page.  I still looked at mine from time to time, because the web profile had your lifetime and best stats.

I'm happy that you got your spam notice fixed.  There is one very good feature about migrating to Google.  If you tap on your profile picture in the upper right, there is a Send feedback option.  Fitbit has no plans to reactivate that page, but we need our lifetime and best stats.

Thank you. Fitbit seems to like doing that. first the games that they claimed were not popular anymore which we know is a lie. (They even took away our trophies and were like "But you can back them up. What harm would there have been to let us keep them where they were?) Then the dashboard to where we could log and favorite our foods and see other stats and claimed everything on the dashboard was available on the app which is not true. You can't favorite your meals on the app. Also, the style of things was  way better on the dashboard We don't have the old style back so how can it be that everything is on the app? and now this. I mean what next? They already took away being able to look at past sleep animal scores. Personally I like how the maps looked before when using the gps when outdoors. Shoot even actual google maps does better and it has been thinking I phase through houses and yards on my walks.

@LZeeW I also mis those features

On the web I could choose lifetime totals or pick a start/end date. Now I can only get a total for one year. I'm not adding up 11 years worth. . 1000016971.png

@Newfitkitty we still have badges, but I agree Trophies where fun. (I still miss the weekly competitions), they told us that something better will come - I'm waiting.

I don't know if it's just me or not, but today, I went to fitbit.com/dashboard and nothing is displayed on the entire screen. I have refreshed, and still nothing.

On top of that, this morning my mobile app could not sync with my Inspire, so I followed the steps of rebooting my device, then rebooting my phone, and finally removing the mobile app. When I reinstalled the app and tried to log on with my google credentials, the app said "Something went wrong. Please try again." I have tried again, I even installed the app on a newer device, and no luck.

@CameraSue   Fitbit deactivated the web dashboard some time ago.  I can't log in to my Fitbit app, either.  Looks like Fitbit is down.  Others new having trouble, too.  Downdetector -- Fitbit

@LZeeW Thank you for the quick reply to my post, and confirming that it is not just me having issues today.

@LZeeW In addition to the Downdetector website, I remembered that there is Fitbit status website that confirms the current outage.

I was hoping that there would be some status posted as information on the community page.

My frustration is that when I saw my device wasn't syncing, I followed the instructions, to the point of uninstalling and reinstalling the app, now I can't even log in and see my account. And with the fitbit.com/dashboard being discontinued, I feel so removed from my fitbit account that I have been using since 2013.

Hello @CameraSue

There was a Fitbit outage this morning (17 Jul 2025), which was fixed by 08:00 PDT.

Please let us know if you're still having problems with logging into the app and syncing.

@CameraSue It happened to me but I only go as far as force stopping and restarting my phone and my versa 3. I then go to the site and in this case since I couldn't log in I somehow knew it wasn't on my end so I went to twitter and facebook and just messaged them there and also saw that I wasn't the only one. I hope you were able to log back into your device.

@RiekoC  I get the feeling that until people check online at here and on facebook and twitter they should hold off on uninstalling and reinstalling since that causes more problems when it is a server thing.

@LZeeW Same here annd it was a weird kind of down because while my device was showing that it couldn't find my phone when I would look at my calender thing on it that seemed to sync normally but yet my weather app on it didn't and I almost laughed because on my app it said that it had been 6 hours since my versa 3 synced to the app when 1. I know that is not true cause it synced just fine at 4:45 am and again at 5:35 am. Since it was 8 am that my app said that I was like okay... 2. Thing is there would have been a red exclamation point demanding I sync now. Anyways glad it is back. The things I do before I chek online is.

  1. Try a billion times to get it to sync
  2. Wait about ten minutes and try a billion more
  3. Force restart my Versa 3
  4. Try another billion times to sync.
  5. go on my phone and see if there is an update.
  6. go into my settings and clear the fitbit temporary cache and do a force stop
  7. Try a billion more times to sync
  8. Sigh and go online to see if it is just me or not. (Come to the community, then facebook, then Twitter.)

I don't do the uninstalling and reinstalling since I read that cause more problems for people. So, I don't do it unless they say.
