Updated to 4.27 - now watch can't connect

Have tried restarting watch, phone, uninstalling, reinstalling, turning off bluetooth, turning on bluetooth. This is all after a month of steps being out of sync on the watch and app. What is going on, Fitbit???

@lincbeck It would help it you provided some data, such as what watch and phone. My Pixel Watch 3 with Pixel 6 phone connects fine. calories, steps, and steps per hour are lower on the phone. I keep all software up to date. I am not yet able to update to the just released new version of Fitbit on my phone. I am hoping it will fix these and some other issues. however, the watch was released recently and may be the culprit for the mismatched data issue. my Sense and Sense 2 both had occasional connections issues. the Blaze had pairing issues, but once paired, connected flawlessly.

with more data, someone may be able to suggest something you haven't tried.

Please provide watch and phone info and have a Terrific day!

Thanks! After several hours, multiple uninstalls/reinstalls, and restarting both watch and phone 5 times, it finally connected. And the steps in the app and the watch still do not match, despite the new app update. So the problems persist apparently.

@lincbeck , data was the same when I was using the Sense 2 and the Blaze that I used while waiting for the PW3. the PW3 is still losing calories burned, total steps, and steps / hour. Other data might also be getting lost that I don't watch closely. I think it may be something to do with the watch and not the Fitbit app on the phone.

I hope it you the data loss isn't too bad to use and have a Terrific day!

You say a bunch of installs and uninstalls, but no mention of what is being installed. The app or the watch?
