Since Fitbit has forced us into downgrade -1.0, I figured I might try to rephrase the question.  Can we upgrade to the old app?

I am more than willing to take my chances.  The "old" app at least worked.  The "new" app is just a bundle of bugs, warts, and tumors as far as I can see.  I cannot see how you are going to begin to fix this with a dot one release.  My money is that the dot one release will report the battery level and the rest of the junk will remain unfixed.  Thanks for nothing.

Hi there @Boggledorf. It is nice to see you around.

Thanks for sharing your queries with us about the app.

Please be aware that we do not suggest doing this. Keep in mind that if you don't have the most recent app version, your Fitbit device might stop working properly.

Thanks for getting back and sharing your thoughts with us.

You'll be pleased to know that information on the Fitbit app and changes coming in upcoming upgrades was announced. The inclusion of the battery percentage to the app will also be part of this upgrade. Read it here by clicking: Fitbit app update coming.

Agree :hundred_points:! I'm looking into other fit watches. I've heard good thing about VitalFit, reasonable pricing, no monthly cost ... etc. I've had it with fitbit and all it's failures from their watches to their app changes and now with Google. It is to be great.

You clearly didn't read my post. It seems like all that is promised by fitbit is in some months time we will get some (but not many) of the features we enjoyed some very few weeks ago. The only real promise I see is the battery level. Don't knock yourselves out!! I'm worried that your engineers might not have the right work-life balance if they have to spend 15 minutes on that toughie!!

I agree. Upgrade to old version. My battery is draining before the day ends. My coworker still gas the old version and it works great. Change is not always good. I cant even find the place where you click for upgrades like the old version has.
