Upgraded Fitbit watch, now require new email account?

Hi, my mum had Fitbit Charge 2 but she lost her watch couple of months ago so I just got her new Fitbit Charge 3 yesterday. When she reinstalled the Fitbit App on her phone it asked for her email address, but she can't use her email address because it was used for FitBit Charge 2.

How do you fix(?) this issue? does she login using her old email address then change watch to FitBit Charge 3 or something?

Detailed step by step info you be much appreciated, thank you very much.

Hi, @Azzan, it sounds like when your Mum opens her Fitbit app she is selecting "join Fitbit" instead of "log in".  When you click join you cannot use a previously registered Fitbit.  However, if she clicks log in, she can just enter her Fitbit email and password and all her previous history will still be there.

Once logged in click the account icon -- that's the one designed to look like an ID card: a small rectangle with a smaller circle and several lines.  On the account page, she can choose "Set up a device" and follow the instructions from there.

I hope that's all clear, but ask again if you need more help.  Welcome to the forums!  I hope your Mum enjoys her new Charge 3!
