I have been using Fitbit for 7 years. My device died about a year ago and I replaced it with a smart watch. I use the Health Sync app to upload my steps to Fitbit so my wife and I can still track each other. About 2 weeks ago my Fitbit app only shows steps that are in an activity. It doesn't show all steps. The steps are in Fitbit correctly because they appear correctly when I receive my weekly email summary. I no longer can look on the Fitbit website for my steps because the online dashboard forces me back to the app. The issue appears to be with the app since the steps appear to be uploading correctly.

Hello @LouieVig
I believe there's an issue on the Fitbit side that affects step count syncing as well as exercise data in the Fitbit app. I've seen multiple users reporting a similar issue starting around the beginning of this month (Sep 2024).
If your weekly summary is showing your steps correctly, that's good news since it means your data was properly uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers.
Hopefully, it won't be too long before a fix is rolled out and we see our all data in the Fitbit app.
