I disagree. I think if they open their platform to other trackers they will grow their user base which will ultimately lead to more 1) sales of devices, and 2) upgrades to premium.
I don't believe they're making a smart business decision by locking out 3rd party trackers.

@PeterDTown Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Currently, these are the apps that you can link with the Fitbit app. If you want another device or app to connect with Fitbit; suggest the idea on the Feature Requests Board. That way, users will be able to vote for it to get it implemented later on.
