Using both the Fitbit Charge 3 and Fitbit App to track run to get voice cues

Fitbit, please fix your software...I have a charge 3 and Google Pixel 3 phone. In order to get voice cues over my headphones from my phone, I have to use the fitbit app. The app on its own tracks the run using GPS and provides voice cues for distance and time. I have to then manually set up the charge 3 so my HR is tracked as well.

The issue is... shouldn't my fitbit that communicated with BT to the app on my phone set up that I am running, tracks the run but the app knows to provide voice cues on my phone so I can know how far I've gone in my run? This means I track the run from the fitbit on my wrist to the phone in my pocket...not having to track 1 run with 2 devices.

I am not the only one with this issue. I am very frustrated as I used Under Armours app Map My Run for years before getting my fitbit. My fitbit is causing me more headaches than a HR monitor with Map My Run did. I wish fitbit could improve this so I only have to track once...from the actual fitbit on my wrist, not both...I have to set the fitbit on my wrist to start a run, then I have to go on the app to set it again so I get voice cues...by the time both the watch and the phone are set for the workout I am walking and have now ruined my pace for the first km...very frustrating, please fix. Also if you add warm up walk before the run and the voice cue for what your heart rate is at would be great too...If this app worked like Map my run or Map my fitness would be great and I am shocked that it doesn't. I am beginning to regret getting a fitbit.
