It’s good to see you in the community, @Skinnyguppy.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend confirming if your device is paired to your Fitbit account by doing the following:

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. If you don't see any device paired, tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

You can check the steps to add tiles on your Fitbit app dashboard at How do I add, remove, or rearrange tiles on my Fitbit app dashboard?

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

My device is paired and the app and fitbit are both up to date. I am also having these problems. I don't understand why one day it's working and the next day it's not.
