Woke this morning to find that I'd completed 16,000 steps at 05.30 (I was up briefly at this time), this has happened a few times in the last month. All software is up-to-date and I can't delete these step!

Thanks,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Only the step count is being affected or other stats as well? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Versa 2 and troubleshoot the Fitbit app with the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Hi, I realise this post is old but did you try the 'fix' and did it work? Mine has done this 3 times recently and I think it has coincided with low blood sugars but I would think my fitbit would be smart enough to know it's physically impossible to do 21,000 steps in 15 minutes!!!

I'd suggest you'd try to change your screen on your fitbit.

Whatever kind you have.
