Versa 2 step count accuracy issue

Galaxy 20, versa 2. I walked 3k today and yet the app synced I hit 10k. My steps have been wrong for months

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Only the step count is being affected or other stats as well? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Versa 2, check the information that's specified on: How accurate are Fitbit devices? and troubleshoot the Fitbit app following the next steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
