Versa Lite not connecting to phone

Hi, 

 

I've purchased a second hand versa lite and created a fitbit account, but I cannot add the device to my account. 

 

Device is stuck on 'download app' screen (has been factory reset) and phone cannot find device when trying to setup.

 

Have spoken to live chat who couldn't help. Have tried restarting both devices, reconnecting to wifi and bluetooth, have watch plugged into charger and not into charger etc. 

 

I have a Google Pixel 4A, android version 12 and I'm getting so increasingly frustrated. Please help.

Have also tried to connect it to my computer but that also cannot discover the watch
