I bought a Versa Lite for my wife for Christmas, added it to my account and now her steps are showing up on my Charge 2. How can I fix this?

You cannot have 2 users on the same account. If you have put 2 devices on the same account, it assumes they are both for you and you are switching between trackers.
Your wife needs to have a separate account with a different email.
For 2 users, the best option is to have 2 different sync devices. If the only sync device available is one phone, you will have to keep logging out of one account, then log into the Fitbit app with the other account.

Thanks. Is it possible to now create a separate account and put the new Versa on the account or is it too late since it is already logged on to my account?

You can still create a new account and put the Versa Lite on it but you will not be able to separate any data that has already gotten mixed into your account.
First remove the new Versa from your account. From main app screen, tap profile pic at top left, then Versa Lite to get to Account page, then wastebasket icon at top right. Then go into phone's bluetooth settings and unpair the Versa Lite if it is still paired.
Then add the new Versa Lite to a new account.
