Versa isn't syncing and experiencing multiple issues

So, my Versa for the last 4 months has sucked. It doesn't sync properly and whenever I look at my weather app and period app, it says "sync to fitbit mobile app to update." Whenever I go to sync it, it says that it did and some of my information shows up like my steps and technically everything on the main page that tells you all of your stats. But whenever I want to connect to WIFI or any sort of thing like it or to another device, it says my Versa was not found or that it can't find anything to connect to even though there is a strong connection of internet at my house. I have repeatedly disconnected and unpaired my device from EVERYTHING, and also restarted my app and my watch. I have done everything suggested in the troubleshooting forum, and everything you CAN do to fix it. I have turned my Bluetooth on and off and disconnected it from there as well. For some darn reason nothing works. Not even when I get a new watch face, does it allow me to change it if it can be changed depending on color or pictures. Nothing on my actual watch updates. Only the stats screen and that is it. I cannot however update my weight ON my actual watch. I think there is something really wrong with it.

 

I got my watch on Amazon and have been doing so for the last 5 years every time I want or need a new one. I have had the Charge 2, Charge 3 and now the Versa. I have never had a problem like this. The only reason I got a new one each time is because they were old and slower than before. I have only had this watch for about 9 months and that is ridiculously early to already be broken or slow and messing up.

 

I have no clue what to do at this point. Now I know a lot of people are going to say to unpair, turn off Bluetooth, etc, but I have already done that a million times and it still doesn't do anything different. I am very confused at this point and am unsure what to do to fix it, that is why I have taken to here.I have the warranty on this watch but I am just not sure how to make it work anymore. Please help me.

Welcome to the Forums @Amalieaxelsen99.

 

Thank you for sharing all of the steps that you have tried to get your Versa to work correctly and for letting us know the issues you are experiencing.

 

It is possible that the connecting between your phone and the Versa was corrupted in some way. If that is the case I'd like to recommend that we try to restart the connection from scratch:

  1. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  2. There, look for your Fitbit and any other Fitbit devices that might show up as paired.
  3. Remove all of them from the list of paired devices.
  4. Restart your device after that.
  5. Finally, run the set up process as if you were setting up a replacement Fitbit. 

That should get it working as if it was brand new, without any issues.

 

In the meantime, please let me know what phone is it that you are using at the time.
