Versa lite not connecting/syncing to phone

Hello all!

I had problems connecting my versa lite to my new phone, Samsung Note 20 ultra. I did everything, turn bluetooth off and on, restart my phone, fitbit, clear cache and Google everything I could find to help it sync.

I also got the stupid, "an app is needed to use this device".

After everything, I went to my boyfriend for help since he's more tech savvy. And he got it to work! He also had the same problem too and after Googling for solutions and finding nothing, he figured it out!

You just have to be sure you have your Fitbit synced in the app first.

Then go back to your settings on your Fitbit and turn bluetooth into "pair" mode. Once it's in pairing mode, go to the bluetooth settings on your phone and search for devices.

You should see a device listed as this "Versa Lite (Classic)" it has to say classic next to it as it used this as a remote for the music and notifications.

Connect this device to your phone and you should have 2 fitbit devices saved. One is used for sync and the other is used for remote control and notifications.

Hope this helps anyone that's been having problems 🙂

Classic light is used only to remote control the music functions on the phone.

Your Versa Light User Manual explains how to pair the Classic Bluetooth.

The Fitbit app is responsible to pair the Versa.
