Versa resetting steps

I got a replacement versa today. Unpaired and shut down my old Versa and got my replacement one paired and up and running.  Now it keeps restarting my steps. I've hit my step goal multiple times and every time it resets to 9,187. I have tried resetting the watch, restarting my phone.  Unpairing and repairing the device. Changing watch faces. I'm really at a loss and very frustrated at this point!

Thanks for bringing this up and listing all of the steps that you have tried to get this working correctly. 

 

In this case I'd like to ask you some question to better understand the situation:

  • Are the steps being reset on the Fitbit itself or the account?
  • If it is only on the Versa, are the steps accurate on your Dashboard?
  • Has this continued happening today as well?

In case this is on your account then please try to log out of your account and then log back in to your account. That will cause all of the information to be reloaded from the servers once again so that the app displays the correct amount of steps.
