Versa still not syncing with my Samsung J3 phone

I am on the verge of giving up with fit bit as it will not sync with my phone and I can't receive notification either I'm losing my patience with it can any one help

I'm sorry that your Versa is still not syncing correctly with your phone. I understand where are you coming from with this situation and I'll be here to work on this with you. By any chance do you receive an error message when trying to sync? Is the Android version of your phone updated to the latest version?

 

I've confirmed that your Samsung Galaxy J3 is a supported device and while you may have tried troubleshooting your Versa, I'd recommend to give a try to the following in the given order:

 

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that aren't in use.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app from the Play store.
  5. Reboot your phone and restart your Versa.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon > setup a device.
  7. Choose the Versa and follow the onscreen instructions.

 

If it's able to sync, you can go ahead and setup the notifications one more time. Now, if the issue persists and you're getting an error message, please attach a screenshot of that so I can take a look into that.
