I have been happily using my Versa with my Android phone for years. The last couple of days my Versa started "losing time" and I realised it was not syncing with my phone.
So I tried everything I know. I turned the bluetooth on my phone off and on, reset my Versa, logged in and out of the app. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It still would not sync.
I then unpaired my device and thought I would just re-install it, but now it will not it will not pair.
I have tried all the above things at least ten times over the past few days. To test if it was my device or the phone, I tried pairing on my partner's iPhone and the same thing is happening (or rather, NOT happening).
It will connect (sometimes), I will enter the 4 digit numbers that show up on the Vera, my phone says it is taking longer to connect that normal, then says it has failed to pair.
I am using a strong and stable WiFi connection, it is 100% charged and in the charging device, my phone is fully charged, the phone and Versa are right next to each other. The green light on the back of the Versa is working.
It is driving me crazy. I suspect it is something to do with the bluetooth in the device. I don't know what else I can try! Please help!!

So apparently for no reason whatsoever, my phone (Redmi Note 7) which has worked perfectly with my Versa for two years without a hitch, is no longer supported by Fitbit. The solution from Fitbit? Use my partner's iPhone. NOT a solution. Anyone want to buy my Versa that is now as useful as a piece of junk? After 10 years of loyal usage, it seems it is time to say Bye Bye Fitbit and Hello Garmin. 😞
