Versa won't sync properly

I have a Samsung 8 and was having no problems with the sync until this afternoon.   However it now only syncs steps.   Heartrate, sleep, minutes, and calorie calculation quit.  I've tried everything but deleting the app from my phone.

Thanks for bringing this up and for trying those steps to get it to work. I'd like to take a closer look at what is going on.

 

Given that the steps are syncing then all information should be logged to the servers and the app. In this case I'd like to ask that you take some screenshots of your main dashboard on the app. That should help me better understand what is going on. 

 

In the meantime I'd like to recommend that you try clearing the app's cache from your phone, if you have not done so. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go the phone's application settings.
  2. There look for the Fitbit app and tap on it.
  3. You should see an option to clear cache, select it.

With the exception of tracking steps, my Versa did not sync for a 24 hour period.  I tried everything short of deleting the app from my phone and reinstalling it.  I went to bed and the next morning found that it began to sync overnight and has been working properly since.  One full day of information is missing from my Fitbit app on my phone, but it has been syncing ok since.

A similar thing is happening with my Charge3, steps are synchronising, but aria data is not being updated on the app and the main heartrate display and the resting heartrate on the app have not been updated for several days, even though activity heartrates are being updated.

@Thestans Have you tried to follow the steps I shared above? They should definitely help in getting it all to sync correctly. Additionally please also try to log out of your account and then log back in.
