Fitbit went from a high utility, reasonably coordinated interface with minor annoyances to an interface that is almost useless for any kind of real world analysis due to elementary errors in design. The update is amazingly amateurish. There are far too many violations of basic presentation presentation principles to list. But, underlying them all, and what obviously drove the redesign, is the ridiculous idea of calendarizing the charting, especially since time adjacent charts don't even maintain the same scale. Because every module had to be recoded for that unnecessary, counterproductive purpose, each module has its own unique set of design flaws and even, in some modules, plain, simple calculation errors in chart data that the user can't even access to correct. The prior version wasn't perfect, but it shone for its utility. That's been lost. This is a major step backward. Is there a way to revert back to the prior version?

Hi @Oiboh - unfortunately Fitbit don't provide any kind of fall back, and some previous versions also had functionality faults.
When the issues are resolved in later releases (if they are) stick with that release to avoid unwanted surprises. Same with the firmware.
Don't change what is not broken.

My new charge5 quit syncing until I updated the app, and I agree the interface just keeps getting worse... have to flip to 3 pages( from a completely useless summary page) to get the sleep graphs that used to be on the 1st summary page !
The fitbit app cannot be stopped (i.e kill process on android) and even after a reboot just comes back. So googs is collecting data 24/7, and you agreed to it in the "agree or cancel" statement...
M i-b a n d 6 is looking better and better... im sure A p p le is just as bad as G o o g's

Did you try uninstalling the Fitbit app, then reinstall it.
With fitbit support I was able to install and got up and going. Good luck

"Calendarizing the charting" is a great way to describe it and yes it's completely useless, what a huge step backwards from the previous versions. I just want to be able to see a chart/trend for the past 30 days, 7 days, whatever, regardless of what today's date is.
