Playing golf, tracking walking steps, Fitbit steps is always far lower compared to steps on my accurate pedometer. Does Fitbit confuse steps with strides? On the Fitbit app you can set your walking and stride length; however, a stride is two steps. How does Fitbit track steps when you manually input stride length.
The step count function seems highly inaccurate. It also does not measure unless you use your arms walking or running. It is useless on a treadmill. Can someone help me better understand how Fitbit manages steps or strides?
