Just purchased Charge 2 and tried dozens of times to install/uninstall/install Andoid App to my Samsung S6 with Nougat OS. Everything that I know to check is current.
Upon installing the app and launching then pressing Login, the screen displays "Fitbit has stopped. Restart app or Send Feedback.
I have uninstalled the app, rebooted the phone, reinstalled the app etc. several times. I called tech support. no help.
I was able to get the app to install and load on an identical Samsung S6.
Any ideas what could be wrong with my S6?

Best AnswerThanks @Rich_Laue for getting me on hte path. Your link didn't quite provide all the information for someone who doesn't spend much time hacking settings on their phone, so let me get more specific to the fix:
Settings > Apps > Application Manager > Google Play Services > App Settings - Permissions > Turn on Phone AND Storage
install/login to Fitbit app now works.
@shgyfy take a look at this post https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Fitbit-app-crash-at-login-screen/m-p/1982812#M48416
It sounds as if your app has the same permission problem
