So this is odd, but when I get the voice cues through my phone, the lady is super fast and high pitch like a chipmunk. I've got a Google Pixel running android 9 but it also did it on any version of 8 too. Anyone have this issue and know what to do? I've cleared cache, reinstalled the app and opened up setting for data and battery just in case. Nothing different.

Hello @nicksommerfeld.
That is definitely odd. Thanks for letting us know everything that you have tried.
Have you tried using different headphones? Maybe it is related to them.
Also, when did this first start happening? There might be a clue as to what is going on there.
Look forward to your reply.

Hello @nicksommerfeld.
Thanks for that.
Please do try the wired headphones and let me know how it goes. If it works, it would shed some light into what might be going on.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

So I went out yesterday and didn't use headphones and had the same issue.

I am also having the same issue. She talks so fast, I can barely understand her. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. This has happened on my Bluetooth headset and on the phone speakers. Surely there are more people having this issue.

Yep it's happening to me it worked fine on my Samsung Galaxy S6 but when I got the S10 it started doing this and it's annoying
Are you doing anything with this because it's annoying and maybe I will use a different platform when my fitbit dies

Hello. Did you ever get a resolution for this? Mine started last week and I can't figure it out. Thank you
