Note that your Fitbit tracker it might have some difficulties to track your weight lifting activity, since you are not having a motion pattern similar to walking; to give you an example. For this activities the best is to start exercise mode on your tracker or add a manual activity on your Dashboard, for the time you were doing the activity. This is the best option for those activities where step count isn't the best indicator of the calories burned.
