I am trying to receive only whatsapp notifications on my charge 5.

Do not wish to give SMS permission to ANY app ; as part of my "housekeeping".

this is NOT working with Fitbit app and its very annoying. other trackers allow this !

any workaround ?

@Gids Welcome to the forums. Thanks for reaching out about WhatsApp notifications. 

What exactly have you done to confirm this is not working? I have deactivated SMS permissions and will monitor my notifications. I will let you know how it goes. However, I believe you should be able to still select WhatsApp under the "app notifications" section. Or do notifications altogether stop working after you revoke the SMS access? Thanks in advance.

update on this... I reset the app and tried to setup again.

the sms access is not given , but whats app and other appps notifications are comming thru.

I will ignore the permission access warning.
