The app worked when I bought my versa. It no longer works. "Fixes" don't work so I am not receiving notifications and text which is why I bought this watch. I just want my money back at this point.

If you bought directly from fitbit then you have up to 45 days from purchase to return it - for any reason - for a refund.
If you bought elsewhere then you might want to contact the retailer about their return policy.
Under the terms of fitbit's warranty (see: https://www.fitbit.com/in/legal/returns-and-warranty ) fitbit offer a replacement for a defective product but do not offer a refund option.
