Why does MobileTrack suddenly appear as a device

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

At irregular periods MobileTack appears on my Android as a Device.. When I try to unpair, sometimes it goes on forever and I need to reboot the phone.. Other times immediate.

Why does this happen....

I understand MobileTrack is for Fitbitbitters to use if they don't have a tracker and still be active in the forums and their personal page.

There seems to be a great deal in the forums interchanging the name thinking it is MobileRun because under the exercise tile we use Track and that uses MobileRun... Not MobileTrack.

I feel Fitbit need to explain that in more detail.

Hello @Colinm39, it's nice to see a familiar face around! Indeed, MobileTrack will appear as a device since as you know it will use your phone as a replacement for trackers to read basic data. If your phone is compatible with this feature it will appear on the drop list when you pair a tracker.

If there is a delay removing the Mobiletrack feature, it will depend of the interest speed and connection on your mobile phone.

About the concern of interchanging name of the MobileTrack feature with MobileRun; here you can find posts that explain more in depth how they work:

MobileRun & Your Device.

MobileTrack compatibility and support.

Hope this helps and stay awesome!
