I find it so VERY frustrating that the Android app does not appear to provide the simple calculation of your calorie deficit. It has calories in and calories out. Why not squeeze that extra number in there? Last I heard computers, even smart phones, are privy to the function called "subtraction".
Is this app currently being developed?
Furthermore, yes, the cal deficit can be seen on the WEB app dashboard. but this is far from convenient as I don't carry my computer around with me.
Additionally, I see that there is a cumulative deficit total for the week on the WEB app dashboard, WHILE THAT WEEK IS HAPPENING. After the week is through, this number disappears. There is no history. THERE IS NO WAY TO TRACK YOUR PROGRESS WITH CALORIE DEFICIT.
Is this bait for going premium? I tried the trial and still didn't see this anyway.
And finally, there is no way to see weekly cumulative deficit status on the phone app. Let alone your MONTHLY progress, etc. IS THIS NOT THE POINT?
Please say I am just missing a setting somewhere. The omission of this data is an astonishing oversight.
(P.S. I seem to have to constantly create a new password to log onto this site, but this would be completely forgivable provide there is a solution to the derelict problem above)

Don't know if this addresses your question since I don't log food, but this article looks helpful on how calories are handled.

Thank you. But that doesn't address the problem at all. I am not interested in goals or food plans. Please let me know if I can make my explanation of the issue any clearer.
