Wifi won't stay connected on the app

I just got the Fitbit Versa 2 today and have successfully linked it to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 already. I connected the Fitbit App to my wifi and it successfully connected, however, every time I go back to the main menu for my Versa 2 to click on "Apps," or "Watch Faces", etc, it goes in, and tells me "Oops, looks like there is no internet connection.". When I then go back into wifi settings, it does show my home wifi as saved, but not connected. Upon clicking on it to reconnect, it successfully does so, but every time I leave the wifi settings page in the Fitbit App, it seems to disconnect. I have tried using the app itself with just my data and that won't work either. I tried restarting both my Versa2 and the Note 20, but nothing seems to remedy this issue. Any help would be appreciated, I am really excited to use my device but sad I can't get anything to load.

(Everything else on the Fitbit works great so far.. message notifications, weather, fitness tracker etc. I just cannot seem to setup apps/commect spotify/change the clock interface because the app won't stay connected to the wifi..)

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @mellaestrella1. It's great to have you here.

Thanks for the details provided and troubleshooting performed before posting here. I recommend you trying to force stop the Fitbit app from your phone's settings as instructed here. If the Fitbit app is still having the same behavior, please reinstall it from the Play Store.

Hope this helps.
