Hello @Tstuck70! Thanks for joining the Forums.
Let me help you get your Fitbit to pair with your account so that you can work to reach all of your goals.
The first thing I'd recommend is that you try going through all of the steps listed in this help article. They will definitely help you to get it to work.
In the meantime, I'd like to ask what phone is it that you are using. You did mention it is an LG but could you share the specific model that you are using?
Let me know if there are any further questions.

Hello @Tstuck70.
This could be happening because the LG G6 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following the steps that you have already tried works, it does seem like it didn't for you.
You could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Purchased Charge 3 on Oct 8, 2018. Set up to my LG G7 & now the phone no longer syncs. Have removed the Charge 3 from Bluetooth & attempted to add new device again, nothing happens, just sits there. Attempted the manual setup, however per the Fitbit instructions the item to select in advanced settings is not listed. Now I just learn that the Charge 3 is not supported on the LG G7! This is ridiculous! Is Fitbit just in the business of taking peoples money & offering no service? I would like to know when these issues will be resolved. If they will not be resolved within a specified period of time then please let me know which competitor offers a device that will work as promised as I need this for medical reasons.

Hello @Tstuck70. Welcome to the Forums @Upset175.
@Tstuck70 Thanks for trying to sync with your husband's phone.
Maybe you could try running the set up process as if it was a brand new device on your husband's phone. That should help so that it starts syncing correctly.
@Upset175 At this moment we do not have any ETA for when we can expect the LG G7 to be added to the list. Maybe you could support this suggestion to add it by voting for it or commenting on it. Be sure to read the FAQ if you have any questions on the way that board works.
In the meantime you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Attempted utilize the PC version & get a message saying the Charge 3 can only be added on the mobile app. So basically this product is useless. Unable to install on the mobile or pc versions of the app. What a waste of money & time! Had no problems with my Charge 2 until it stopped working & the upgrade to the latest & greatest is not so great.

Welcome to the Forums @Lowa.
Thanks for sharing those details of what happens when you try to pair your Charge 3.
As I mentioned above, this might be happening because the A5 is not part of the supported devices list. Having said that, maybe you could try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They might help in getting it to pair and work.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
