Your Fitbit should be within Bluetooth range (approximately 30 feet) in order to receive a call from your phone.

Yes, the farthest Bluetooth devices will remain connected is 30 feet. However, this will depend on the objects in between the devices. A wall could reduce this range a lot. Even people standing between the two devices connected can affect the connection. As long as the path between devices is clear, the Bluetooth connection will remain up to 30 feet.
