Yesterday's steps same as Tuesday's steps

When i synced my children's Fitbits last night ie. 14nov 12.31am and this morning 8.09am,  I noticed the total steps values for yesterday 13nov are same as the values for tues 12nov ....Fitbit hasn't updated the steps values for yesterday 13nov at all . It tells me the total steps correctly for today so far but yesterday's values are wrong.   I switched my phone on & off , I'm using updated Fitbit app & logged out of & logged back in on Fitbit app too but still no change for  Wed13nov2024 values.
