In this case I'd like to ask if the situation has continued or if it has improved? In addition to that I'd like to also ask what Android version is your S9 currently running.

Best AnswerThe Fitbit Zip will NOT sync with Android 9.0 (Pie). Do not waste your time with any of the suggestions put forth by Fitbit, they will not work! This has been an ongoing situation since the rollout of Android 9.0 a full year ago. It is becoming more widespread as more phones are updated. There are currently only 2 "sulutions" to sync a Zip: 1. Restart the Zip by removing the battery & 2. Syncing to a phone running an earlier version of Android.

I apologize for my delayed response. Thanks for confirming that the issue has persisted and that you are using Android 9.
