my flex app won't show me my step count, it is cut off. all I can see on my app is calorie count, track your exercise button, water and food log.

It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community @NicholeG ! Hmmm...by any chance, have you checked both, computer and phone? If you're missing the steps count on the two Dashboards I'd recommend trying to set up your Fitbit as a new device (I'm assuming that your Fitbit was unpaired by mistake and that's why it's only tracking your calories estimation).

Give it a shot and let me know if the steps are back !

my tracker is dead and a new one is currently in the mail. Yesterday the
lights were not working, but i could still put it to sleep, but today i
cannot get it to work at all. Do you know when I get the new tracker, will
I be able to sync it to my current account and be able to keep all my
history?

Sorry sweetie, but I don't have that information for you ... Are you getting the replacement from customer support? If so, feel free to contact them again and ask when you're buddy is gonna be delivered. However, keep in mind that you'll be receiving your Fitbit within 5-7 business days from the day of the shipment. 

And yes, you will be able to sync the new Fitbit to your current data just by setting it up as a new device. This process will retain your old data and will be tracking the new one.
