Went for a Kayak last night, approximately 5km with a hard charge across the lake and back.
My Charge4 reported 1.1km total, however the map shows my path accurately. Not sure how it's able to have a discrepancy when the GPS breadcrumb data is accurate.
At the same time, once I hit "finish" on my Charge4, the app synced up quickly, but I had a twirling wait icon within the android app for the entire night. It didn't allow me to view details of this specific activity for a solid 9 hours. This is a repeatable issue that happens every time.
Steps to reproduce:
Set Charge4 to its internal GPS tracking
Set activity to "walk"
Go for a kayak.
Hit finish, and sync.
It will stall out for the rest of the evening.
Afterwards the distance will be incorrect, and I'm unable to edit the activity type to "kayaking" because the app says I need to specify the calories burned, but you can't tap that part to change it.
The calories were already logged as well when you view the activity.

@therealjcole the distance for step based activities doesn't come strictly from GPS but from steps hence such a huge difference between the distance on map and reported by Fitbit. Use Bike instead to make sure it's using GPS only.

Don't know if this would cause a problem, but after hitting 'Finish', aren't you supposed to scroll on down to "Done' and tap that?

Whichever the way you indicate that you aren't working out anymore is what I do. I hit the side button then finish or whatever. I've done that since 2019.
