can't see heart rate data on specific record activities

Since the new roll out many old and all new records activitives no longer show the heart rate data for that activity. This was the main function I use Fitbit for.... Samsung watch here I come, all because of a ill thought out update. Same old story.

Yes, you can. Tap "Excercise Days" on the "Today screen" → Tap an excercise → Scroll Down

 i wish that were true for me. I have been told via a support chat this is a know issue with the new version, as I suspected. I hope it is sorted soon

I do have some that have the heart rate data, but most are missing and all new exercises are missing this data. I have checked the web dashboard and all is okay. So definitely an issue with the new app.
