can't use App

I've had to install the app on a new device while my normal phone is away for repair. There appears to be no way to log in using my google account, and  my old fitbit credentials are not recognised. If i try to create a new account with my gmail address it tells me there is already an account for it, if i try 'forgot password' with the same email address, I don't get a response, does anyone have an answer ?

Hello @Ajbcfev have you converted your account to a Google login? 

 on your other phone, did you log in with an email address? Or through your Google account? These are not the same. 

You can go here to see what email address you had used last. 

My suggestion if you still use your email address. 

  • Open your saved passwords for your browser - you have logged in on your browser 
  • Find fitbit and use this email and password. 

If you login through Google. Choose this option and follow prompts 

I notice that you are logged in to the community through an account created last month , and I see that it is connected to a Fitbit account that was created 5 years ago. Therefore your password history should have your answer
