I cannot connect my new Alta to the app. Keep getting 'update app' message. The app is also new. Have tried rebooting tracker, reinstalling app...no success.

@rl2, what phone are you using? Is it on the list of Fitbit compatible devices? What version of the Fitbit app do you have? (Open the app Account screen and select Help to see version number.)

It's a samsung grand neo. The app is 2.15.1.

@rl2, that phone does not appear to be on the Fitbit Compatible Devices list. That is a very old version of the Fitbit app - the current version is 2.43. Your phone's operating system is probably too old to support the newer version of the Fitbit app if the Google Play Store does not list a new version to update to.
