If you're in a vehicle that vibrates a fair amount, it will register as steps. There are a couple ways around this. You can plug it into a charger while you are driving or you can create the manual activity "driving" to overwrite steps, calories, etc for the time period you are driving. If you're driving on a regular basis, you might want to look into something like the 3rd party app "DriveBit," which you can activate while you're driving and will create that activity automatically for you. Best of luck!

Sadly drivebit stopped working for me today - the android version, anyway. I'm now stuck with no way of negating steps counted while driving which will screw up my stats. I tried the android app method of logging it under activities, and all it did was reduce my calories out/calories remaining figures - didn't reduce steps AT ALL. Am really annoyed at this.
